Work hours calculator

Start, end and break for each day: the calculator adds up your hours, compares them with your target and shows your overtime balance.

All on your device: the maths runs in your browser and your times are stored only here. Nothing is sent.

How to use it

  1. Set your target hours per day (for example 8:00 or 7:30).
  2. Fill in start, end and break minutes for each day.
  3. Read the total, the overtime balance and, if you like, the amount to bill. Copy the summary or download the CSV.

FAQ

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The maths happens in your browser. Your times are saved only on this device, so you can continue the week later.

What is the balance?

The difference between hours worked and target hours. Positive means overtime, negative means hours you still owe.

How do night shifts work?

If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes you finished the next day.

What does “in decimal” mean?

The total as a decimal number, e.g. 7:30 = 7.5 h — the format you multiply by an hourly rate.
